Team Managers

Do you LOVE soccer, but you don’t PLAY soccer?  You can help your child have a great season by signing up as a team manager!

Great teams need to be organized, but coaches are already busy with practices and games.  They often struggle with the communication and management tasks that are necessary to have a great team.  As a team manager, you take on critical tasks for your coach:

  • Ensuring parents are aware of upcoming games or practices.  This can be as simple as keeping a subscribable google calendar and sending a weekly reminder email.
  • Collecting fees for tournaments or equipment.
  • Organize an end-of-year team party.
  • Distribute a snack schedule.
  • Keep mobile applications (TeamManager or TeamSnap) up to date.

An ideal team manager has good computer skills and is generally available via email.

By signing up as a Team Manager, you take a leadership role on your player’s team.  Your player will notice this, and understand that their soccer is important to the family.

If you have questions about volunteering as a team manager, contact your club or your coach.
