We are thrilled to have Hillside Community Center as the home of Lincoln Youth Soccer. LYS offers a robust menu of low cost (and no cost) soccer/futsal opportunities to children and families in our community. LYS also supports an array of additional programming that serves our collective neighborhoods including nonprofit events, fundraisers, fun runs, camps, yoga, pickleball, community meetings, and more. In addition, the Hillside Community Center gym is available for private lease for sports, birthday parties, photo shoots, meetings, events, etc.
Our gym rental rates can be found listed below. Please contact us with questions about rentals, programming, access, etc. Also, if there are specific initiatives that you are motivated to champion or host at HCC, we’d love to hear from you.

Please bring a mat
Learn the foundations of Pilates in an all level mat class. This 1 hour, low impact class will focus on strength and mobility centered around the core, hips and shoulder girdle. You will learn how to breathe and move more efficiently. Class will always start with the basics and variations will be given to level up and make things more challenging. All are welcome regardless of prior movement experience.
Dan Walton has been teaching Pilates since 2006 and opened Studio Blue in 2007 to create a space for everybody to learn how to move well. The studio’s goal is to help ease chronic pain, increase athletic performance, and move more mindfully. Dan is beyond excited to share his love of Pilates with the Hillside Community Center.

Everyone is welcome, whether you’re brand new to yoga or have been practicing for decades. If you can breathe, you can practice yoga!
Jane has been teaching yoga in the Iyengar tradition for more than twenty-five years. This method pays close attention to correct alignment in order to avoid injury, improve strength and mobility, and develop greater mental focus. Jane has years of experience working with students who struggle with limitations such as joint problems, neurological problems that may affect balance and strength, and weight problems. She also enjoys working with athletes who want to use yoga to support their best performance. Jane is particularly interested in helping students develop individual practices that serve their needs, whatever they are.
Pay and register at your first class. Come when you can.
